I believe it’s important for communities to have a choice.
Public offices exist to serve the people, and elections are how we make sure those offices continue to reflect the needs and expectations of the community.
If constituents feel content with how things are going, they can continue in that direction. If they’re ready for something different, they should have that option.
More than anything, I want this office to reflect:
Clear communication
Careful organization
Respect for the public
Confidence in how things are handled
I take responsibility seriously.
Should I have the honor of stepping into this role, I will commit to serving you by upholding the integrity and values of our community.
I understand that experience in the role is something voters are thinking about.
I bring relevant experience along with a clear plan to prepare thoroughly and step into this position ready to serve you well.
In my current work, I already:
Draft and review legal documents
Work with property records and descriptions
Record and update documents in county and state systems
Operate in structured, deadline-driven environments
Maintain accuracy in detailed work
I will:
Seek mentorship from other county clerks
Participate in training through the Nebraska Association of County Officials
Study the responsibilities of the office in depth
Invest in community relationships vital to the role
