ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I was born in Aurora, Nebraska, and moved to McCook as a child. This is where I grew up, and it’s where I’ve built my life.
I’ve raised six children here, three grown and three still growing, and this community has shaped who we are as a family.
For many years, I was a partner in building and running a successful small business here in McCook. More recently, I’ve worked as a legal assistant and paralegal.
In that role, I’ve worked with:
Legal documents and records
Property descriptions and deeds
Structured systems and government databases
Client relations
Detailed review for accuracy
New employee training
When I'm not working, you’ll likely find me at Lucy's Bakery and Cafe, coffee in hand, catching up with friends and neighbors. I enjoy visiting my kids at college, following McCook tennis, and spending time at home with my family. Life is full, a little busy, and just the way I like it.
I’m comfortable in busy environments, and I’m good at bringing order and clarity to complex situations.
I try to be someone who sees a need and steps in to meet it.
I enjoy building healthy working relationships, supporting others, and creating systems where people can do their best work together. When people collaborate well, things move forward more efficiently and more effectively.
People who have worked with me often describe me as:
Detail-oriented
Resourceful
Determined
Easy to work with
How people are treated is what matters most to me.
I believe in kindness and honesty. I believe in being clear and direct in communication, and I believe that even when we disagree, we can do it in a way that maintains respect.
